Regional Roundtables & Webinars

2015 Amarillo Roundtable

The TDA Regional Roundtable Program is designed to give our members networking and educational opportunities within their regions. Roundtables are half to full day events and include a presentation, discussion, networking and lunch.  These meetings are a great way to showcase your downtown and share initiatives and strategies that have been useful in your community.

The Downtown Webinar Series allows you to learn about a downtown topic or issue from your desk. What could be easier than that?  Topics have ranged from social media to Small Business Saturday.  These events are focused on different reagions of the state. If you need assistance determining your region or have any other question, please contact

Regional Roundtables and Webinars are open to members and non-members.

Operation Increase Occupancy Webinar
August 10, 2017 / 12 PM

Donna Dow will present about the City of Denison's efforts to reduce vacancies after the economic downturn in 2008. The program started with small projects like pulling weeds, washing windows, and decorating vacant storefronts and grew to include façade grants, working with realtors, and developing a strategic marketing plan. After this session, attendees will be able to:

· Develop a written list of tasks that can be used to jumpstart the process of filling vacant buildings
· Put together an inventory of likely barriers to occupancy individually or as a whole.
· Utilize volunteers willing to be part of the solution with specific activities to choose from.
· Address vacancy issues without being overwhelmed at the task.

Donna is a Certified Main Street Manager that is a student of downtown revitalization with over 16 years of Main Street management.
