Texas Downtown (TXD) provides members with resources, advocacy, education, and connections to develop vibrant districts.
One of our most valuable tools is our List-Serv. This gives you the chance to network with other members and R and D (Rip Off and Duplicate) and benefit from the experiences of others. Resources
We share information on downtown trends and programs as well as funding opportunities from a variety of sources, including our own Anice Read Fund.
Education
Texas Downtown hosts both online and in-person educational events. Webinars are offered as a benefit of membership while regional roundtables and the annual Texas Downtown Conference allow downtown professionals and champions to learn from one another and explore host communities.
Advocacy
Texas Downtown offers advocacy at the local level through direct assistance and working with stakeholders. We also monitor state and local legislation and programs that impact downtown and promote outstanding downtown projects and programs to an expanded audience.
Connections
Our member listserv allows members to share advice and recommendations, request assistance, and tout downtown success stories. Events bring members together to explore and learn.
